God wants to be your best friend! I think the reason why a lot of us are not close to God is because we have not realized that he is our God. God is your God, he belongs to you. I don't know maybe you are just like me, tired of not being able to identify who really is a friend. When I got tired, I ran to God. God is not a distant person that you cannot reach or talk to anytime. He lives in you. Have you ever tried to imagine how a big God that we cannot fathom his size could live inside of you? That should assure you that he is the best thing that can ever happen to you.
I want to tell you today one way you can become best friends with God. Now you will never know how close you are to a person until you keep talking and getting familiar with one another. First is by sharing all your life experiences with God1 ALL! Keep talking to him, tell him everything. Now, it might look like you are out of your mind but all you are doing is building a friendship with a strong foundation. You should be talking to God while shopping, driving, working, reading or anything at all.
I know one thing! God is the best friend you can ever have. The one that will wait for you if you stray, the one that will love you no matter what you do! The one that can give you anything you want...If I were you, I won't think about this twice. I don't know of any friend that is better! He loves you! It doesn't matter what you ave been through, who has hurt you, who has turned their backs on you. I know God is waiting for you. Be blessed!
